1. Mark Hunt

Mark 'The Super Samoan' Hunt is one of the best knock out artists in MMA history. He would popularize the walk-off knockout which is the act of punching someone and just walking away afterwards, instead of going in for the follow up punches.

In order to land a knockout punch in the heavyweight division, you'll often have to take one and Hunt had a legendary chin that certainly could take a punch.

In fact, he was even able to eat leg kicks from legendary kick boxers such as Mirko Cro Cop, whose legs were nicknamed 'Right leg hospital, left leg cemetery'.

2. Carlos Condit

Carlos 'The Natural Born Killer' Condit is known to have one of the best chins in MMA history even after his prime.

Condit would only be TKO'd once in his career, which resulted from a leg kick that tore Condit's ACL and MCL.

Condit would fight some of the scariest fighters in MMA including George St-Pierre, Johnny Hendricks, Rory Macdonald, and Nick Diaz, and was able to eat their best shots like nobody else could.

Besides having one of the best chins, the Natural Born Killer would use his chin to his advantage to continue marching forward and look for the finish.

He would go on to finish 28 of his 32 opponents.

3. Nate Diaz

The Diaz brothers are known for their insane cardio and granite chins. Nate specifically was able to absorb all of McGregor's best punches to score one of the biggest upsets in UFC history.

They would fight in an immediate rematch and although McGregor was able to secure the win, he was yet again unable to finish Diaz, despite having finished almost every one of his other opponents.

4. Max Holloway

Holloway is known as one of, if not the best Featherweight in the history of the UFC.

He is also known for his impeccable cardio and his impeccable chin. Holloway has absorbed 900+ significant strikes and has yet to be knocked down.

The most impressive part is the level of competition that he has faced. He has taken the best punches from:

  • Jose Aldo
  • Alexander Volkanovski
  • Anthony Pettis
  • Jeremy Stephens
  • Charles Oliveira
  • Calvin Kattar

Despite this, he has yet to be knocked down, and is only 30 years of age, entering his physical prime.

5. Dan Henderson

Dan Henderson is one of the true pioneers of the sport as he would fight and have massive success in multiple organizations including Pride, Strikeforce and the UFC.

He would also go on to fight in multiple weight classes including open weight and heavyweight! Yes Henderson who at one point fought at 185 lbs would move up and fight at heavyweight and even pull as massive upset vs Fedor Emelianenko.

In order to be able to have this success, Henderson used his iron chin to absorb heavyweight's best strikes, while dishing out his own famous 'H bomb'.

Henderson's ability to eat punches amazed fans for decades, until it finally began giving out near the end of his career. Despite this, it was incredible to watch Henderson eat his opponent's best strikes, and march forward seemingly unfazed.
